What can the AIT do?

After a student has a diagnosis of autism, the Autism Intervention Team can assist in implementing strategies that are evidence based and appropriate for the students on the spectrum.

Due to the nature of autism, students on the spectrum often have difficulty transitioning from one activity to another. The AIT can complete assessments to utilize student's strengths to help successfully transition from class to class, building to building, and beyond school to employment.
