With snow days and school delays, January seems to have flown by. We are now into February and are excited to recognize a few superheroes at Larned Elementary School!
Val Marshall is being recognized as our classified Superhero Staff Member of the Month because she goes to infinity and beyond! Or, as most of us usually say, this staff member goes above and beyond his/her job description and is always willing to help others.
🦸♀️ Val never stops working for her families. She works on snow days, during holidays and throughout the summers to help them. Because of Val building strong relationships with her families, they have no problem contacting her if they are in need of help or support. Val is a superhero because even when she has clocked out, she is still helping others! Val truly is a bridge to our families before joining LES.
Karrie Sleder is being recognized as our certified Superhero Staff Member this month because she is a powerful problem solver! This staff member is your go-to when problems arise. They always find the solution that’s best for everyone involved!
🦸♀️ Mrs. Sleder is a true asset to our staff. She is someone that will always have an idea of how to solve a problem or just lend an ear when you need someone to listen. Her students are excited to be in her classroom and they always have a silly story to share.
🦸♀️ Karrie is an amazing teacher. She has been responsible for the Hi5 Friday welcoming board for the last 2 years. She gets this ready on her own time. She is always ready to help wherever she is needed. She serves on several committees to make LES the best!
🦸♀️ Karrie always makes sure her people are taken care of, even if it is a simple check-in.
