USD 495 is excited to welcome a familiar face into a new role this school year!

A lifelong Larned resident, she began her education career nearly nine years ago as a paraprofessional for USD 495 and also spent three years coaching middle school volleyball. For the past five years, she has taught preschool and kindergarten, helping young learners grow and succeed.

She and her husband, Carson, have been married for a little over five years and have a daughter, Daisy, and a dog, Millie. One of the highlights of this past year was having the opportunity to teach Daisy in preschool.

Outside of school, she enjoys spending summers camping at the lake with her family, attending concerts with friends, and crafting and baking with her daughter. She has also recently started a side business painting custom banners for special occasions, combining her love of art and creativity.

She is excited to work with older students, become more involved in the community, and work alongside some of the teachers who inspired her to become an educator.

Please join us in welcoming her to her new role at USD 495!
