You can't celebrate a Chiefs Spirit Week without a tailgate! Our staff brought in their favorite tailgate item to snack on throughout the day. It was a nice change to have a little break instead of work during our morning collaboration meeting.

It was another windy, cold morning but that didn't stop the staff of the Family Crisis Center from showing up to greet LES students for Hi5 Friday! It's so fun to watch the kids AND the adults sharing their smiles and high fives with each other. Thank you Family Crisis Center staff for offering our students some caring and kindness this morning!

Cereal Bowl 2023 was a HUGE success! We collected 679 boxes of cereal to donate to the food pantry. Our champion class was Mrs. Rainbolt's 1st grade class with a total of 106 boxes! A big shout out to all of our students and families for participating! #lesfamily #larnedpride
We're wrapping up our week of appreciation for these special ladies at our district. Thank you, Kayla, Jacque, and Sherry, for having big dreams and helping our students reach their goals and dreams too! #NSCW23

Special Shout Out to our LMS Counselor, Mrs. Pruter, during national school counselor's week. We recognized her today and appreciate all that she does everyday!

Roger and Linda Kenyon visited our 6th graders today to show them this historical piece of pottery that was found in Bison, KS! Roger's family found these pieces of pottery and, like a jigsaw puzzle, they glued it all together. Experts say this piece of pottery is 4000-6000 years old, and was most likely made by a female Indian. #learningisfun #larnedpride

Did you know that our high school JAG class is fortunate enough to tour the State Capital twice a year? Yesterday, Mr. Hagerman took four students from his leadership team to visit Topeka. In two weeks, any senior that has not been to the capital gets to go too! #larnedpride
