Come out and get a look at this years LHS Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball and Wrestling teams at this years Winter Black and Orange Scrimmage Night. The night will kick off around 5:30 on Monday November 28th, in the wrestling room at LHS, followed by Girls Basketball and Boys Basketball in the LHS gym.

LES is hosting a Birth to 5 Development Screener on December 2nd. Please call the school to get your child(ren) signed up. In order to attend our preschool in the Fall, you must come through one of our screeners. We also have resources through our Parents as Teachers program for birth to 5 whether you are attending or not attending our preschool and Sunflower can support if under the age of 3.

LES had another fun visitor today. Lieutenant Rohr came by with Gizmo, his K9. He answered several questions and showed a few of Gizmos skills. Thank you for making indoor recess better today. The kids loved it!

Pizza for our pumpkin winners! Thanks again to our PTO for providing for the class. It actually went perfect with their Turkey story they were reading and the turkey disguising himself as a Pizza delivery guy.

Mrs. Dryden's class had a special visitor, TSgt Alli Haynes, zoom in from Eglin Air Force Base. She shared about her role, responsibilities, and different equipment. Each student asked a question and she answered. Thank you for fitting us into your morning!
