Our LHS students turned trash into treasure at the Trash to Trends competition in St. John. Their designs earned 3rd in Costume and 7th in Creative and Challenging Materials. Proud of the creativity and teamwork from this group. #larnedpride

I would like to nominate Mr. Fairchild for an orange spot. Last night about 5:15pm he dropped by our house to return a lunch box that was left on the bus by my son. He went above a beyond to ensure that we had an evening without frustration and a morning set for success.

This project has been a long time coming for Shawn. He has wanted a SpongeBob bank for years. Miss Beth brought her potter’s clay and tools to school and showed him some handbuilding skills, and together they created the bank. Mrs. Pontius fired it in the kiln, and Shawn finished it with acrylic paint. Now he gets to fill it with coins!
