If you have a preschooler or will have a preschooler planning to join us at LES this Fall, please complete the following pre-registration. This will allow us to start working on class sizes and rosters. If your child is not currently attending LES preschool or has not been through our Larned 495 Screener, please save August 6th in your calendars to do so. That will be needed prior to enrollment. Our 5th graders have been working on an egg drop project. They had to create something that will protect a raw egg when it is dropped from several feet high. All but two survived the fall. The kids enjoyed it.

Reminder LMS Band Concert on Tuesday, April 27 at 7 pm at the community center. Come enjoy the LMS bands in action!

Congratulations to the following LMS athletes for performance at the Halstead track meet on Thursday. 7th grade champions - David Colglazier (100m, 200m, triple jump) and Christian Slattery (400m). 8th grade - Kaylee Hagerman (400m & triple jump), 4x200 relay, Kaden Herrman (100m & 200m), and Carson Shaver (triple jump). Go Indians!

Mrs. Forbes class put on their archaeology hats and dug for dinosaurs as they continue to work through the alphabet. You also see a picture of the 2nd grades latest Science activity. They have been learning about critters and habitats. The meal worms are starting to turn into beetles.
