Did you know today was National Pancake Day? Mr. Sleder's class celebrated with a few activities. They read a little history on the day to start. The kids then had a pancake flipping contest, followed by graphing the data. We found out some students had a hidden talent of flipping pancakes!

No LMS Scholars Bowl today. We are rescheduling for next Tuesday at Pratt at 4 pm.

Due to some conflicts, LMS 8th graders will not have a chance to attend the Barton Career Fair on Wednesday.

Biology students had fun making their own yogurt. *Note to taste testers, make sure it’s flavored!!

All LMS parents are invited to our Student Showcase Night on Tuesday, March 24. We will have a meal for families starting at 5:30 pm and then students will take their parents to the TRIBE to share slideshow and have discussion together. We hope for a great family event at LMS.

5th Grade Parents/Guardians:
Just a reminder tomorrow we have our field trip to the Symphony. In order to make it on time, the buses must leave at 8:00am. If you drop your children off, we need your help to make sure they are here before 8:00am to get loaded. Depending on weather, lunch will be eaten outside, so a coat is encouraged.
Thank you!

If you are interested in an easy way of helping out Larned Elementary School, see the link below. We still take the box top clippings, but now they want you to scan your receipts to earn the box tops. You can download the app and select Larned Elementary School. Then you scan receipts and it checks for any box tops for you. The app automatically adds to the school you have chosen. A few people have even sent in their receipts for us to scan.
Thank you for helping us out!!
