Even more hardwork selfies! Keep it up tribe!!

This message only applies to students using band instruments owned by the school. As we approach the end of the school year, all band students with school owned instruments will need to turn in their instrument so that inventory can be completed. We ask that all instruments be returned Thursday May 14 or Friday May 15. Instruments can be taken to LMS/LHS offices from 10-2 and LES from 10-12. You will need to call as the doors are locked. If these times are not convenient, please contact Mrs. Colglazier (jennifer.colglazier@usd495.com or 285-0064) to make other arrangements. Students needing a school instrument to use over the summer should also contact Mrs. Colglazier. Student owned instruments should remain at home for the summer.

Congratulations to Austyn Moyer-Mantel and Jaycius Crockett-Armijo for a top 5% finish at 13th place in this semester's Stock Market Game in Mr. Coles Financial Literacy class. Austyn and Jaycius competed against 247 other middle school teams across the state. Each team starts with $100,000 of fictional money to spend on the stock market. The teams are able to use the real time prices from the New York Stock Exchange to enter into trades. The goal is to purchase and sell stocks and bonds to increase how much your portfolio is worth. It is most impressive that Austyn and Jaycius placed this high with a positive net return since the game uses real time prices and their portfolio had to survive the economy's decline due to COVID-19.
