On Wednesday, our 8th grade students participated in Reality U, sponsored by the United Way. After taking a survey, students received a futuristic version of themselves at 26 years old. They had to figure out budgets for housing, transportation, childcare, etc. like "real life."

There will be no school for USD 495 on Tuesday, due to expected continuation of snow with possible accumulation up to 5 inches. We are expecting snow packed roads and reduced visibility. All activities are postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date. Student safety is always our top priority and we appreciate your support.

Just another reminder of our upcoming Winter Wonderland Family Night, this Thursday. We will have various Reading and Math activities from 5:30pm-6:15pm. Walking tacos will be available following the classroom activities. Bahama Mama snow cones will also be available if students complete at least four activities.
