Elijah Webster, 6th grade student at LMS, completed a project based learning assignment in his social studies class, which involved writing a letter to your senator about a national issue. Mr. Moran sent a response to Elijah that he received today. Congratulations, Elijah!

LES started the year off with Expectation Stations. Our students rotated around the school where staff reviewed expectations for the whole building. Now students and staff are all on the same page with Acting responsible, Being safe, and Caring for self and others, which has been such a positive for LES!

LMS Awards Assembly: We will have our 2nd nine weeks and semester award assembly at 2:45 pm on Tuesday, January 21 in our gym.

LMS B Girls and Boys Team Basketball Tournament in Pratt has been rescheduled for Saturday January 18, 2020. Halstead and Reno Valley-Nickerson canceled because of weather and safety of travel concerns.

Due to weather and the safety of all traveling, Herrington has cancelled the Charles McMillen Wrestling Tournament in Herrington, on Saturday January 11th.

LMS Boys and Girls busses leaving Hoisington now- 7:50pm

LHS Basketball has started up again after the holiday break playing Nickerson last night. The girls lost 22-59, the boys won 52-35. The season continues this Friday at home against Lakin. Come out and support our student athletes. Girls play @ 6pm, Boys @ 7:30pm.
