Beginning Tuesday, January 21, 2020, Larned High School students will be able to purchase a second entree along with their daily lunch at an additional cost of $1.50. For example, if the menu is hamburgers, fries, salad, etc., students may purchase a second hamburger. If it is chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, green beans, etc., they may purchase an additional serving of chicken nuggets. ALL students will be charged the $1.50 for the second entree regardless of their meal status. Free and reduced rates WILL NOT apply to this offer. Students will be required to order their second entree during the daily morning lunch count. LHS boys basketball ends a 2 game losing streak with a blow out win against Pratt 76-36. #larnedpride

LHS girls basketball falls to Pratt 15-41. #larnedpride

C team boys win the tournament in overtime- 21-17. With only 7 players they pulled together and played hard to pull out the win. C team girls came up short in a hard fought game on a heart breaker on a last minute shot- 17-16.

C team tournament going well for the Tribe. Girls win 22-12 and the boys win 27-7. Both play for the championship. Roll Tribe!

LHS basketball games vs Pratt have been rescheduled to Saturday January 18th. JV boys at 4:30, Varsity girls at 6, Varsity boys at 7:30. No C team boys or JV girls as they are playing in the C team tournament which starts at 10AM. Come out and support LHS Indians Basketball.

There will be No School for USD 495 on Friday, due to road conditions, parking lot and sidewalks conditions. All activities are postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date. Student safety is always our top priority and we appreciate your support.

LMS Awards Assembly: We will have our 2nd nine weeks and semester award assembly at 2:45 pm on Tuesday, January 21 in our gym.

We will have a 2-hour delay for school on Friday. Based on the forecast for snow and ice overnight, we will monitor and evaluate the conditions again in the morning for any additional schedule changes. Student safety is always our top priority and we appreciate your support.
