Introducing the JAG-K Student of the Month, Aspyn Kingsbury! Here's what a few teachers had to say about her:
"I had Aspyn in a class last year. From last year to this year she has improved significantly in her confidence. Her public speaking skills have drastically improved too. I can not wait to see what more she is able to accomplish in her future." -Mr. Scheideman
"Aspyn does a great job staying on top of her work. She goes above and beyond expectations in the classroom and is a great friend to everyone. She is always willing to help." -Mrs. Zook
"Aspyn is a great kid. She stays on top of all her work. If she is missing something, she makes sure to get it turned in. She is an important member of the Scholars Bowl team, never missing, and participating in every practice. I am very proud of Ash and her accomplishments." -Mr. Upson #larnedpride #besttribeever

We started off Spring Break by celebrating a great group of Upstander award recipients! The LHS PTO wants to recognize those students who exemplify the true spirit of an Upstander – those who demonstrate kindness, empathy, and courage in supporting others and standing up for what's right. Congratulations to Arianna Hemken, Kinley Atteberry, Alexis Stewart, Slade Sundahl, David Colglazier, and Jocelyn Clawson (not pictured) for their well-deserved Upstander Awards! #larnedpride #besttribeever

Here's a few good news calls home to start Spring Break!

Our 1st graders had a blast today with a visit from the 'Picture Lady' courtesy of Prairie Arts Unlimited! 🎨 Big shoutout to Prairie Arts for their continuous support in bringing creativity to our students' lives! And guess who made a surprise appearance? Shannon's son, Luke Fischer! The students loved it! #larnedpride #lesfamily #bettertogether

Happy 100th Day of Pre-K! It's time to celebrate, because 100 years old never looked so good! 🎉 Our littlest learners had a blast today stacking 100 cups, playing "Would You Rather" with 100 things, crafting 100 day crowns, and imagining what they'd do with $100! #larnedpride #lesfamily #learningisfun

LMS hosted the CKL Music Festival yesterday! Band and choir scored II in large group. Olivia Holt, Grayson Maxwell, and Addison Snodgrass earned I ratings for their piano solos, and Olivia and Grayson also scored I on trumpet solos! Olivia Holt got a II for her vocal solo. Congratulations to all performers on a job well done! #larnedpride

When it comes to Mrs. McGurk, one thing's for sure - she's a good sport! First grade won last week's Book Fair Coin Drive, and as their reward, a lucky few students got to turn their principal into an ice cream sundae! 🍦🎉 #larnedpride #lesfamily
