From headlights to taillights, we’re ready for the year ahead! The Kansas Highway Patrol stopped by today to inspect our fleet. All 17 buses and 12 passenger vehicles passed with flying colors after Troopers checked every light and safety feature. Thank you to our school board for supporting an on-staff mechanic, and to Transportation Director Richard Fairchild for making sure our fleet is always safe and ready to roll.🚍🧡#larnedpride #bettertogether

Kids heading back to school soon? You could too! Tri-County is hiring paraprofessionals in Ft. Larned, Kinsley-Offerle, and Pawnee Heights. Full-time, part-time, and sub positions are available. We’ll work with your schedule and can even help with transportation.
It’s time! Band Camp begins tomorrow at Larned High School and Larned Middle School. Students should bring their instrument, folder, and books. There’s no cost to attend, and you’re welcome to join any or all sessions that work with your schedule.

If you’d like your child to attend USD 495’s preschool program this fall, please call the LES office to schedule a developmental screening (if you haven’t already!). This required part of the enrollment process helps us get to know your child and determine classroom placement.
Screenings will be held this Friday, August 8, from 8:30 to 11:30 AM at Larned Elementary School.

Stop by any school office today, Tuesday, August 5, from 8:00 to 4:00 for in-person support. You only need to go to one office, even if you have kids in more than one building. We can help walk you through the online process and take cash or check payments.
