Landon Erway (LHS alumni!) and Jarred Smith are the hosts of the podcast and interview different business owners and community members for their perspective on Larned and more specifically, downtown Larned. It's easy to overlook the opinions of young children, but Landon and Jarred explained to our students that their opinions matter. For the past week, we worked to find the cause of our recent low lunch balance inaccuracies. The balances between Skyward and Apptegy have been consistently matching since our last correction. Mr. Apley took a 4 man team to a competition yesterday at Garden City Community College put on by their welding program. The LHS team consisted of Gage Donecker, Daniel Kelty, Dylan Roberds, and Jameson Smith. They were tested on general safety, welding knowledge, blueprint reading, layout skills, torch cutting and SMAW welding and placed 8th out of 18! Way to go boys! #larnedpride
