Shoutout to James Seeman and Grayson Maxwell for representing LHS at the Kansas State FFA Convention in Manhattan! 🌾 #larnedpride

Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it!
Mrs. Jennifer Keith is being honored today in Wichita at the USA-Kansas Conference as the Kansas Elementary Assistant Principal of the Year. She’s poured so much into LES, and now it’s her turn to be celebrated!
She’s even throwing the first pitch at the Wind Surge game tonight. No pressure, right? (She’s been practicing!) ⚾ #larnedpride #lesfamily

We aren’t positive… but we’re pretty sure few students had more fun than our Pre-K crew on the last few days of school! #lesfamily #larnedpride

The Family Crisis Center is hosting Cyber Smart Kids Day at LES on Thursday, June 12 from 8:30 to 3:30. This free event is open to kids in grades 3–8 and includes lunch, games, guest speakers, and helpful tips for staying safe online.
Topics include gaming safety, cyberbullying, scam awareness, and more. Sign-up is required at bit.ly/cybersmartlarned. #larnedpride #bettertogether

Congratulations to the JAG-K Student of the Month, Landon Armstrong!
“Landon has been a great TA with my LMS class during eighth hour! He serves as a model talent for their interviews, helps troubleshoot when they set up video equipment, monitors class projects, and inventories video equipment in his free time. We will miss him next year and wish him the best!”— Mrs. Munden
“I have had Landon in wrestling and in class. On the mat he was a quiet leader and did everything asked of him. In the classroom, Landon was a dedicated student and really worked hard to understand the concepts. A joy to have in class.”— Mrs. Fitzpatrick

Our track team put in the work, and now it’s almost GO time! 💪
Come send them off to State tomorrow at 12:45 PM at LHS before they roll out at 1:00. #larnedpride
Aloha, Wilsons! 🌴
LHS sent off Mr. and Mrs. Wilson in style last week with a full day of “Wilson” trivia, tropical prizes for student winners, themed outfits, and a staff lunch to celebrate them both. We’ll miss them around here but wish them nothing but the best on their new adventure! #larnedpride

We’ve got summer athletic opportunities for LMS and LHS students, and it’s all in one place! Find your sport, your schedule, and your contact at www.usd495.com/summer2025. That page will always have the latest info! #larnedpride

Please join us in celebrating our 2025 retirees!
Lynn Ryan, Galen Hulse, Kathleen Bunch, and Terry Rainbolt—we’re so thankful for your years of service, the memories you’ve made, and the lives you’ve impacted. You’ve earned every minute of whatever’s next! 🧡 #larnedpride

They’re signed up and ready to roll! Our 5th graders are movin’ on up to LMS this fall! #larnedpride

It’s a big deal to be at school every day all year long. At LES, that kind of dedication can earn you a gift card or even a new bike, thanks to our friends at the Pawnee County Coop and Kim Barnes! We know things come up, so we also celebrated students who missed just a half day, one day, or two days. Way to show up this year, LES! #larnedpride #lesfamily #showingupmatters

Don’t forget! The LHS Cheer Squad will be hosting a car wash fundraiser this Saturday, May 24 during Santa Fe Trail Days! 🧼🧡
Find them at High Plains Farm Credit, 605 Main from 9 AM to 2 PM. Free-will donations support the 2025–26 cheer season! #larnedpride

Fun from bell to bell on the last day at LES! What a way to wrap up the year. #larnedpride #lesfamily

What better way to wrap up the year than with our final Student of the Month assembly and popsicles for everyone? 🎉
Big thanks to the Pawnee County Coop for the sweet treat and support for our kids at LES! #lesfamily #larnedpride #bettertogether

We popped by district classrooms to say thanks for a great year! 🍿
Huge shoutout to Double Good for helping send our staff off into summer break in the best way. Everyone loved the popcorn, especially Caramel-Diem, In Queso Fire, and Little Kettle That Could. Perfect surprise to end the school year! 🧡 #larnedpride #bettertogether

It was a great night at Sign Up, Move Up with our 5th graders! Thanks to everyone who came out and got creative with us. We missed those who couldn’t make it.
