JV Tennis scheduled for today in Hoisington has been cancelled due to the forecasted high winds. It will not be rescheduled.

2021-2022 LMS School Yearbooks on sale now! On-line ordering available now at inter-state.com and orders may be placed until May 31, 2022. In-person ordering available now ~ pick up an order form in the school office. Deadline for in-person orders (payment by check, cash or money order) is May 16, 2022.

The Kansas Forest Service and Pawnee County Conservation Department came to speak to our 2nd graders yesterday about trees. We always look forward to community members coming to share with our kiddos. Thank you.

LHS Varsity tennis scheduled for tomorrow April 12th, has been rescheduled for today. We will shoot for a start time of 4 or 4:30 depending on when the other schools can arrive. #larnedpride

Freshman/New Student Orientation Monday, April 11, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. Larned High School will be hosting an orientation meeting in the high school gym for incoming Freshman and new students to Larned High School. This will be a brief meeting to help inform incoming students and their parents/guardians about the upcoming school year. Extracurricular activities, organizations and coaches will be available to answer questions. There will also be time for tours and sign-ups for activities and organizations. Congratulations to Cammy Upson (8th grade) for setting school record in shot put at Reno Valley meet! In addition, the following won their events: David Colglazier (8th) 100m & 200m, 4x100m (7th & 8th boys), and Cara Herbert (8th) 200m. Nice job Indians!

LMS Track Meet today is actually in Pratt at the Green Sports Complex (2007 E 6th St, Pratt, KS 67124) not at Reno Valley. The field events start at 3:30 pm, 3200m at 4:30, and other running events at 5:30 pm. Limited bleacher seating, so lawn chairs are encouraged. Limited concessions available also. Go Indians!

Today, the Larned FFA competed at the SW District FFA welding competition at Garden City Community College. The contest consisted of a general knowledge exam and fabricating a design from the plans given to competitors using 6010 and 7018 welding rods. #larnedpride
