There was an error in the calculations and we have a new update from the SW District FFA Ag Mechanics contest. LHS FFA finished FIRST overall out of 8 teams. John Stedje was 4th high individual and Daniel Kelty was 5th. #larnedpride

Today the Larned FFA competed in SW District Ag Mechanics contest. The contest consisted of a General Knowledge Test, Wiring Activity, Tool ID, and Bill of Sale Team Activity.
Placings will be announced later this evening.

The Larned High School Volleyball Team was awarded a Team Academic Award. To be eligible to receive the Team Academic Award, teams must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent on another scale, during the FIRST SEMESTER of the current school year. This will include GPAs from ALL players who competed at the varsity level. The following players were recognized for this award: Reagan Krehbiel, Cagney Lemuz, Jayme Hagerman, Elizabeth Herrera, Annie Cox, Camryn Ettleman, Cadee Upson, Mackenzie Reinert, Madison Reinert, Jaidyn Pinkston, Emma Thompson, Nydia Martinez, Madison Wood, Kaylee Hagerman, Sophia Skelton.
Individual awards are granted to letter winners who reach the following GPA requirements. The All-Academic First Team consists of those players and managers with a 4.0 GPA or higher, and those with a 3.75 to 3.99 were named Honorable Mention.

LMS hosts the CKL music festival on Tuesday, March 8 in the afternoon. In order to accommodate the rooms needed for solos and ensembles as well as large group, LMS students will be dismissed at noon that day. Please note the change for LMS only that day.

LMS Student Council Wheatland Fundraiser - Updated Change to delivery date: Thursday, February 17 from 4 to 5:30 pm at LMS. Please note date and time change for delivery/pick up.

LES participated in a poster contest for the Pawnee County Conservation District. The winner received $25 and the classroom teacher of the winner did as well. Take a look at the winning posters!
