The Larned Recreation Commission is still looking for youth basketball players in the following divisions: 3rd and 4th grade girls; 3rd and 4th grade boys; and 5th/6th grade girls. If you would like to get your child registered, reach out to the Rec at 620-285-5957.
LES is partnering up with Lions Club for a Food Drive for local Christmas baskets. Please see attached image for ideas of things you could bring to school to help local families.

The night will kick off around 5:30 on Monday November 28th, in the wrestling room at LHS, followed by Girls Basketball and Boys Basketball in the LHS gym.

Our first Books and Bananas was a success! The kids loved getting to read to others today. Thank you to our PTO for providing the bananas. Thank you also for rounding up community members, first responders, etc to participate in the day. Thank you LES Families for also making the event so special.

LES is hosting a Birth to 5 Development Screener on December 2nd. Please call the school to get your child(ren) signed up. In order to attend our preschool in the Fall, you must come through one of our screeners. We also have resources through our Parents as Teachers program for birth to 5 whether you are attending or not attending our preschool and Sunflower can support if under the age of 3.
