As we prepare for the 2nd semester, we are looking to increase our substitute pool. If you have 60 college credit hours you would qualify for a license to be a substitute teacher. If you don’t have 60 college credit hours we are also looking for para-professional and food service substitutes. Interested parties please contact the USD 495 District Office at 620-285-3185, these positions are vital to our school system.

USD 495 is very excited to get our new ELA program in and passed out to teachers. The kids are looking forward to reading new stories. The teachers are eager to dive and learn themselves.
Thank you to the teachers who piloted each program. Thank you to our School Board for approving the purchase.
A special thank you to a few 5th grade students who helped pass them out too.
