Jessie has been serving on the USD 495 Board of Education for 8 years and was just elected as the 2025 BOE President this past Monday. 👏 When we asked Jessie, “What inspires you to serve on the Board of Education, and what do you find most rewarding about the role?” here’s what she shared: 💬 "What inspires me to serve on the board? I enjoy taking an active role in my community and have a strong interest in education. What do I find most rewarding? This year’s theme for the Kansas Association of Conservation Districts’ poster contest was “May The Forest Be With You Always”. Pawnee County Conservation District representative, Sandy Herrman, visited our LES K-1, 2-3, and 4-6 grades to present the contest. Congrats to our talented winners: Camille Bowman, Ryan Ramsey, and Zayley Griffey! 🦷 Free Dental Care at KMOM Hutchinson 2025! 🦷 The Kansas Mission of Mercy will provide free dental services on January 17-18, 2025, in Hutchinson, KS. Services include cleanings, fillings, and extractions (no dentures or implants). This event is first-come, first-served, and no appointments are needed. Doors open at 5:30 AM each day, so be sure to arrive early. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all patients at no charge. This opportunity is open to anyone, including children.
