🎶 SWKMEA Middle School Honor Choir: 173 voices, 18 schools (LMS being one!), and endless talent! Students performed 4 songs representing diverse languages and cultures under the guidance of a fantastic clinician. Mrs. Reimer said that witnessing these kids sing their hearts out was unforgettable! Exciting news: by 2026, they could be part of the STATE Middle School Choir performing in the State Building. 🏛️ An honor indeed! 👏 #larnedpride

🌍 Exciting day yesterday at LES! Our students were able to explore the Earth Balloon—a 20' inflatable globe with true-to-life colors. Inside, they learned about our planet through high-res satellite images. A big shoutout to Pawnee County Conservation for this amazing experience! 🙌🏫 #larnedpride #bettertogether #learningisfun

🏈👏 The LHS football team made it over for another empowering session with our 6th-grade boys! Luke Fischer and Cordell Hammeke spoke, along with Coach Topps. This session included skit role-playing on how to (and how not to) respond to teachers. We are excited about this ongoing mentorship journey and want to give a big shoutout to the football team for making a meaningful impact! 🙌 #larnedpride #besttribeever #bettertogether

LMS 8th graders embarked on a valuable journey to Ellinwood for RealityU on Wednesday! Thanks to United Way sponsorship, this program offers crucial life lessons. After surveys, each student met their futuristic 26-year-old self, navigating budgets for housing, transportation, childcare, and more – a taste of "real life" responsibilities! #larnedpride #bettertogether

Celebrating a milestone at Ft. Larned! 🎓 Our 5th graders graduated from the D.A.R.E. Program today! The program returned this year led by Officer Sam Sullivan from the Larned Police Department. The graduation was a testament to the values instilled: resisting peer pressure, building self-esteem, embracing positive alternatives, improving communication and conflict resolution skills, and fostering a safer community. 🌟 Royce Froetschner, one of our graduates, shared the program's impact on her, saying, "I hope that other kids will have the opportunity that I did and hopefully have a D.A.R.E program in their community. I have loved this program ever since we got it. I will definitely use these things we learned in D.A.R.E now and in the future." Congratulations to all of our 5th grade students, we are so proud of you! #larnedpride #lesfamily #bettertogether
