SOLD! 7th grade had their End of the Year Auction today! They do a "real world" checking unit all year long. Students pay rent, get paychecks for showing up for class, can buy their way into the room if tardy or extra time on an assignment, etc. At the end of the year we do a final auction, so those that have managed their money well have an option to "spend it". Gary Wagner from Carr Auction & Real Estate was here to auction the items off and it got pretty intense! #larnedpride

4th Grade Ag Day up at the Fairground today! #lesfamily #larnedpride

Our famous 4th graders have been working hard on their Living Museums. They researched a famous person, wrote a biography, and memorized their speech to present to everyone. They even dressed the part. Thank you to parents for helping get them ready. We had a lot of families come check everyone out. They did a great job! Pictures to come!

We are so excited about our Job Fair today and all of the businesses and organizations that were willing to work with us! That being said, we've talked several first responders, military groups, and even the funeral home into bringing their vehicles to put on display today. We know it may look alarming having that combination of vehicles together, so we wanted to give everyone a heads up! If you're looking to possibly change your career, come check us out at 3 today when we open things up to the public! (USD 495 is hiring!) #larnedpride #bettertogether

Cade Colglazier is the JAG-K Student of the Month! Here is what his teachers had to say about him:
This is the first year that I actually knew who Cade Colglazier is. Spanish 1 tends
to be a Freshman class, so I enjoy having the experience of high school and
maturity of an older student. He is a good role model. He studies, he is a
conscientious worker, and he is willing to try new things. His easy going
disposition makes him likable and he is approachable which helps him get along
with others doing group and pair activities. He is inquisitive and he enjoys the
moment. I'm not a coach, but from what I have observed and learned from talking
with him, he is a good team player. It is good to see Cade receiving recognition
for who he is and what he does. - Mrs. Wilcox
Cade is a phenomenal student and dedicated athlete, but more importantly, he is a
quality human being. Cade is always on top of his responsibilities and puts his
best effort into whatever he does. Long story short, Cade is going to be successful
at whatever he does in life no matter what he decides to do. - Mr. Keith
I enjoy having Cade in my welding class. He has practiced his arc welding and he
is very excited to start using our new welder with the TIG function. -Mr. Apley
I have Cade in Chemistry class. He is a very hard working student that truly tries
his best to learn whatever he can. He is also a peer tutor by nature and doesn't
hesitate to help others around him to understand what they are doing. Love
having him in class. - Mrs. Fitzpatrick
