"The Scrambled States of America" tells the journey of a few states who decided to switch places on the map. Soon all the states were in on the plan and decided to go live elsewhere. So, North Dakota goes to Florida and winds up with a sunburn. Florida goes to North Dakota and was freezing! They realize that really - there is no place like home - and go back to their original spots. After the book was finished, Mrs. Prescott's students drew a card with a state on it, and had to go to the corner of the room that represents which region of the US their state is in. Of course, what other way to finish the scrambled states of America than with a word scramble?! What a fun way to learn! #larnedpride
