Reminder: LES fall picture retakes have been moved to Monday, October 28 to include preschool classes! We'll be ready to see those smiling faces on Monday!

Our preschoolers have been working hard on some fine motor skills this week! Cutting monster hair, beads on pipe cleaners, and so much more. We also appreciate the high school aides who come work with our students throughout the day.

Don't cry over... Mrs. Dryden's class worked on wise words in writing this week. They created the end to the wise saying. While they created some clever sayings, they also learned the original too. There were lots of giggles as they presented to Mrs. Keith and Mrs. McGurk.

Tribe Time at LES brings all our students, from K-5, together in mixed-age groups every few weeks. They gather in different classrooms to learn, share, and have fun! Here are some photos from the last two Tribe Times—we love seeing our older students helping the younger ones! #larnedpride #lesfamily

Our students love to get the opportunity to have experiences that normally require them to leave Larned, right in our very own town. Thank you to the Prairie Arts for continuing to bring the Wichita Children's Theatre to town for our students. The shows this year were Piggie and Gerald and School Days.

We had a great morning at LMS during our Board Work Session! 🎉 The Board heard from Mr. Upson’s drone class, Mrs. Hagerman’s StuCo members, and Mr. Sundahl.
Isaac showed off his drone skills, and our 6th grade StuCo members played a fun game with the Board and Superintendent. The Board also toured the building and even snuck into a few classrooms. 🏫
Thank you, LMS, for hosting! 🙌 #larnedpride
