Meet Daniel & Susie Drimmel! 🧡🖤
Married for 28 years, Daniel and Susie are both dedicated educators in Larned Schools—Daniel teaches high school biology, while Susie teaches 3rd grade.
How has working in the same district shaped their relationship?
"Being teachers in the same district allows us to understand each other’s challenges and pressures. It makes it easier to support one another, whether it’s navigating policies or just sharing the ups and downs of the job."
Fun fact: They are high school sweethearts! They met 30 years ago on Susie’s birthday in a Walmart parking lot—Daniel was working when Susie had car trouble, and he stepped in to help.

Due to the scheduled incoming weather on Tuesday February 11th we are going to move up the varsity basketball games. Varsity girls will start at 4:30 PM immediately followed by the varsity boys at approximately 6 PM. We will not play any sub varsity games. #larnedpride

How has working in the same district shaped their relationship?
"It definitely makes it easier to be there for our kids. We haven’t always worked in the same district, so having the same schedule is a big help!"
Fun fact: Between the two of them, they have taught five different content areas and coached six sports over the years!
