Larned Baseball and Softball hit the road tonight for a preseason jamboree in Ellis!
First pitch is at 4:00 PM at the Ellis Fairgrounds, 801 Cottonwood Street. Larned will take on Ellis in Game 1, followed by a matchup with Colby in Game 2.
Games are capped at 5 innings or 90 minutes. No new inning will start after 75 minutes.
No admission will be charged, but heads up—there won’t be any concessions available.

On March 12, Larned High School JAG-K students participated in the State Career Development Conference at Wichita State University. This event brings JAG-K students from across Kansas together to compete in career-based events and leadership activities.
Congratulations to our very own Kaylyn Snodgrass and Brennon Stahlecker, who earned 2nd place in the Business Plan Team competition! Their outstanding performance qualifies them to compete at the National Career Development Conference in Indianapolis this April. We are proud of these students for representing LHS so well!

On Tuesday, March 11, LMS band and choir students traveled to Pratt for the CKL League Music Festival. In addition to the full band and choir performances, several students prepared and performed solos for a judge, earning Excellent or Outstanding ratings.

Mr. Gladow's 5th grade class took the win in this year’s Cereal Bowl, bringing in a whopping 139 boxes of cereal! 🎉 Thanks to everyone who donated, LES was able to give 422 boxes to the Pawnee County Food Pantry—how awesome is that?! A huge thank you to Mr. Hagerman and his JAG classes for helping us load up and deliver all that cereal to the food pantry. Their help was greatly appreciated!
To celebrate, Mr. Gladow's class picked an Escape Room game where they worked in teams to solve puzzles and unlock padlocks. 🔐 It was so fun watching them think through challenges and work together! And, of course, they wrapped it all up with their choice of a celebration treat—ice cream sundaes!
