Big day at LMS as our 8th graders took the NAEP assessment. Kudos to the 50 students randomly selected for representing us so well! Students earned community service hours for their effort 👊🏼
📚 NAEP is the National Assessment of Educational Progress, often called the "Nation's Report Card." Unlike your typical test, you don't have to study for it, and it doesn’t affect your grade. NAEP provides insights into the general state of education in our nation, representing students from across the country.
🌍 Since 1969, NAEP has been reporting information about what students across the country know and can do in major school subjects. It's a snapshot of educational progress that helps guide policies and practices nationwide. #larnedpride

💌✈️ Our 1st-grade students have been on a global adventure with their valentines! Mrs. Rainbolt's class sent out a request to families to share our school's address, and the response has been amazing! From Germany to Guam, Alaska to Hawaii, and beyond, they've received over 40 valentines from around the world! They’ve been sent seashells from Florida, a geography scratch-off game from Arizona, and Missouri suckers! Big thanks to all the parents who made this project possible. Mrs. Rainbolt and her students are feeling the love as they locate each sender on their class maps! #larnedpride #lesfamily #bettertogether
